What is Spagyric?
Spagyric is a very old healing method that was already known to Paracelsus, the great physician and mastermind in the Middle Ages. Spagyric essences are among the most effective and well-tolerated medicines. They are made from medicinal plants in a special process and are non-toxic, harmless and of low alcohol content. They can be used for both acute and chronic diseases.
The name “spagyric” is derived from the Greek words “spao” (= to separate) and “ageiro” (= to bring together).

How are spagyric essences produced?
In 1870, the physician Carl-Friedrich Zimpel developed the spagyric manufacturing process, which is still valid today, based on the principles of Paracelsus and Glauber. This manufacturing process aims at the greatest possible activation of all medicinal healing powers; the herbs are therefore transformed with their valuable and effective healing substances into a broken-down spagyric essence, freed from ballast, which can hardly be compared to the homeopathic mother tincture.
The basis for spagyric essences are dried or fresh medicinal plants from organic cultivation. After a precise quality control, the medicinal plants are cut, fermented for about 3 weeks and then distilled. With the help of steam distillation, the soluble and volatile active ingredients are extracted. The remaining mash is burned to ash and then calcined at 400°C to preserve the high-quality minerals of the plants. The ash is then dissolved in the distillate, which is called a “spagyric marriage.” Selected essences are then potentized and dynamized in this way. From the spagyric essences obtained in this way, we combine your personal blend.
