Histamine is a substance that is involved in the human body for our immune system in the defence against foreign substances. Histamines are formed in the human organism, but are also contained in many foods. In case of a histamine intolerance, the histamine absorbed through food and formed in the body cannot or only partially be broken down. When consuming histamine-containing food or when the body releases too many histamines, a pseudoallergic reaction of the body occurs. The HIT chip contains formulas and frequencies that are intended to support the breakdown of biogenic amines (histamine) via the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) in the small intestine.
