Description
Blood platelets are formed in the bone marrow from so-called giant cells (megakaryocytes). When they are mature, they enter the bloodstream. Depending on the literature, the life span of platelets is given as between five and twelve days. They are broken down mainly in the spleen, but also in the liver and lungs. The OTB chip contains frequencies and formulas that are designed to support the formation and breakdown of platelets.
