Description
Development: Fully developed in the 28th week intrauterine
Duration: From birth to 3rd month
Integration: Into whole body system by end of 4th month. Transition to the amphibian reflex.
Abnormalities in non-integrated reflex:
- Homolateral and bilateral (homologous) movement patterns may be predominant
- Activation of the cry reflex as well as the ATNR and STNR may be delayed
- The pace of work is slowed
- Creativity of thinking may be limited
- Integration of thinking and movement is slowed down
- Cognitive processes are limited
