Description
Origin: 28th week intrauterine
Duration: From birth to 2 months
Integration: into hand movement pattern (grasping reflex) from 2nd month onwards
Abnormalities with non-integrated reflex:
- Special muscle tension in the hands persists
- Constant bending of the elbows is observable
- Maintaining the writing posture requires special effort
- Rapid fatigue during all manual activities
- Spelling problems may occur due to tension in the arms
- The reflex pattern can be a reason for ADHD or ADD
