FBE Flashback detection
A flashback is a psychological phenomenon that is evoked by a key stimulus. The affected person then has a sudden, usually powerful, re-experiencing of a past experience or past emotional states. These memories can be of any imaginable emotional type.
The term is used primarily when the memory occurs involuntarily and/or when it is so strong that the person relives the experience, unable to fully recognize it as a memory. The inappropriate strength of an emotional state for the current situation can thus also help to recognize it as a flashback.
The chip should be supportive to recognize the memory to be able to step out of the past experience faster.
