Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterised by difficulty concentrating or a short attention span and/or excessive activity and impulsivity not appropriate to the child’s age, which impair performance or development.
ADHD is mainly a problem with sustained attention, concentration and the ability to complete a task. An affected child may also be hyperactive and impulsive. Preschool children with ADHD may have communication difficulties and problems with social interaction. When the children reach school age, they appear inattentive, fidget and fidget around. They are impulsive and blurt out answers. In later childhood, these children often move their legs restlessly back and forth, fidget with their hands, babble impulsively, are forgetful and disorganised. They are not normally aggressive.
The chip is intended to help promote the ability to concentrate and balance out the excessive activity and impulsiveness. The chip also contains the frequencies of the early childhood reflexes (KZR and SPR).
