ARR – Righting Reflex

Origin: end of the 1st month of life

Duration: 2nd – 7th month of life

Integration: 7th to 9th month of life

Abnormalities with non-integrated reflex:

• Flaccid muscle tone prevails
• When sitting, the body slumps repeatedly
• An upright posture is laborious
• A forward leaning gait can cause over-focusing on details
• There is a lack of understanding of interrelationships
• Wrong conclusions are drawn
