ENK – Stress-decoupling

The uncoupling procedure removes the stress factors underlying the part of the brain where the unconscious conflicts and worries are stored.
Stress and trauma blockages are stored in different areas of the brain. Only recently have brain research and neurobiology recognized the central role of the limbic system in this process. Uncontrollable stress and traumatizing events such as violence and threats generate a massive “data overflow” in this archaic brain area that cannot be managed in the normal way. A “short-circuit system” comes into effect that enables and sets in motion the three survival-securing behaviors in acute danger: fight, flight or freeze.
Through the decoupling process, there are good possibilities to act on the couplings between the external stimuli and the corresponding stress and trauma reaction in the limbic system in such a way that the blocking of the processing can be reversed.
