LIP – Lipedema

In lipedema, the subcutaneous fat tissue is increased. Mostly, the symmetrical fat deposits affect the legs, more rarely also the arms. The chronic fat distribution disorder occurs almost exclusively in women, often after hormonal changes such as puberty or pregnancy.
