The ability to work in a team refers to a social competence that makes it possible to communicate profitably in a team and to cooperate constructively with others. The common goals of the team should be achieved as quickly and as well as possible. This also includes putting forward and pursuing one’s own suggestions and discussing different opinions and views within the team. The ability to work in a team is important in all industries and jobs. After all, 46 percent of recruiters see the ability to work in a team as the most important quality they look for in a job application.
