PSY 31 – Promoting Enthusiasm

In its literal sense, enthusiasm means that someone has the ability to be enthusiastic. It is a characteristic with different facets. On the one hand, it means that someone can quickly become enthusiastic about new things, has curiosity within him or her and is fundamentally open to things. Someone who is capable of enthusiasm possesses an inner drive. And that is precisely what makes these people so attractive to companies. Enthusiasm is a form of intrinsic motivation and, as we all know, it can move mountains. Regardless of whether it’s a lack of sleep, a gray November, or the start of the week dreaded by many, employees who are intrinsically enthusiastic simply shake off such things and devote themselves to what’s at hand.
