OHV – Optimal Hearing
The ear can be divided into three sections – the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. The funnel-like pinna collects sound waves and transmits them to the eardrum. The incoming sound causes the eardrum to vibrate and the small ossicles (malleus, stapes and incus) transmit the vibrations further into the inner ear. This is where the cochlea and the fine hair cells are located. They convert the vibrations into electrical impulses, which are then transmitted to the brain via the auditory nerve. There, the information is analyzed and sorted – and finally we hear.
The chip is designed to help support the entire hearing system and promote optimal hearing.
