PSY A 18 – Fear of Death

In everyday life, most people suppress the thought of death and dying because it would interfere with their enjoyment of life. Others, however, are tormented by the thought of the finite nature of life, dying, and the fear of death. Fear of death can refer to the fact that we fear a sudden death or a gradual illness associated with severe pain. We may also fear that dying is a painful process or that death is a terrible condition. Some people also fear the finality of never being able to see the people they love or achieve their goals. The fear can manifest itself physically, for example in the form of sleep disorders, nightmares or even panic attacks. The chip is intended to help identify the causes of the fear of death and overcome them in order to be able to live life.
